Currently VP of Operations at Search Wizards, Miranda Hinshaw entered the industry in 2004 with no past Recruiting/Sourcing experience and worked her way up through the ranks. She found that Sourcing and Recruiting was a natural fit and played to her strengths tapping into her work ethic, overall people skills, inquisitive nature, and never ending need to be challenged. This journey has afforded her the opportunity to see staffing from various angles.
She has had the opportunity to hire a broad range of profiles, entry to Executive level, for corporations ranging from start-up to Fortune 100. The past 11 years that she has been with Search Wizards, focused on placing Recruiters and Sourcers with various corporate clients, has allowed her insight into multiple aspects of agency and corporate hiring practices from both hands on experience as well as the knowledge gained from interacting with industry talent.
