OK – I am totally stoked. Why you ask? Because I am here in Seattle, the 206, at SourceCon. I will tell you what excites me the most.
1) 425 Peeps are here!
2) 40% more companies are represented over last year.
3) I have a huge crush on Jon Bischke (an entrepreneurial crush of course).
I am so looking forward to a great day tomorrow, seeing old friends, and making new ones. You have JR in the morning giving us the update on the state of sourcing followed by lessons learned the hard way – (If I knew then what I know now…) you know, from sourcers who were sourcers before there were sourcers if you know what I mean….
And then, it is my turn to speak! I am doing a sourcing lab on diversity training and Amybeth is doing a lab on Twitter searches. (Yes again Jackye is the after lunch speaker…) There are some other programs going on for those looking for the leaderships and tactical tracks. Then the next thing you know – BooYa SourceCon After Dark. (Please no one bring up my karaoke from last year…)
We have not started yet but you can feel the buzz in the air already. This is the biggest SourceCon we have ever had and it is sure to be the best one ever.
On Thursday, great speaker after great speaker with some of the hot topics in sourcing right now – big data, mobile recruiting, off-shoring, tools, tips, and tricks. I mean, I feel smarter already. Don’t take my word for it – check it out for yourself! The is the MUST ATTEND EVENT in sourcing! Look at that agenda!!!
