Yahoo Pipes has been a favorite tool for some of the most technical sourcing professionals for many years. SourceCon writers have discussed the tool since 2009 and Yahoo Pipes has even been shared during multiple SourceCon Lab sessions. In 2013, Aaron Lintz shared a technique to allow recruiters and sourcers to code jobs with geodata and automatically tweet them.
If you’re using any of these techniques, it appears to be time to find an alternative. This week, Yahoo announced they would be shutting down Yahoo Maps, Yahoo Pipes, and a few other services that I didn’t really care about.
Looking for alternatives? Ghacks Technology News recommends ClickScript, Quadrigram, or Superpipes.
