Free Tool Fridays: It’s All About the Vibe

Jul 18, 2014
This article is part of a series called Free Tool Fridays.

Note: This is a part of the Free Tool Friday series with Dean DaCosta. Each Friday during July and August, Dean will provide a short description of one of his favorite browser addons, apps, or extensions.

Next on our list of browser addons, apps, and extensions, is Vibe for Chrome. Vibe is a great tool that can provide you extra information on someone based on an email address.

Below is my LinkedIn Profile, which includes my email address.

Now, notice what happens when I hover over my email and click the Vibe button and Vibe does its thing.

In this pane that appears on the right of the Chrome browser you see a lot of great information including other social sites, my name, and a more specific location. You can also see things that a person has talked about on blogs, their work history, and organizations they are part of. Heck, you can even connect with them in Linkedin and add them to your Google+ without navigating to the site.

Vibe will work on any email no matter where you find it. Vibe saves you time looking by bringing all of the information to you.
